Description
Tonbridge Brewery are an independent brewery based in the ‘Historic Heart of Kent’s Hop Growing Area’, supplying cask conditioned ales to Pubs and Clubs throughout Kent, that includes us in Historic Rochester! and also South East London, and Eastern parts of Sussex and Surrey. Established in 2010, Tonbridge Brewery produce a widerange of distinctive real ales in cask and a small range of keg ales. They use only malted barley, leaf hops (predominately Kentish) and yeast. Tonbridge Brewery ales are brewed with a live yeast that originates from the Barclay Perkins brewery of Southwark, south east London, which provides these beers individual character. The regular cask conditioned ales are all clearly differentiated and the range offers a choice of lighter, darker, hoppy, malty, weaker and stronger ales.

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Lacing rings down the glass, filmy layer, mahogany coloured body. Promising aroma of stewed fruits. Quite prominent taste of caramel malts joined by ripe fruits. Malt-fruity ending, bittersweet. Likable. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light grainy malts. Mild floral bitterness. Little citric peel bitterness. Light dry finish. Crushingly stupifyingly average. A beer like many thousands of others. Well done!

On tap at the Made Inn Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Good hippy blond beer. Very fresh leafy hop flavour. Wow pretty impressed. It's like a mix between a good Belgian and German fresh land bier. Good bitter finish. Love the noble hop style finish. Very impressed.
