(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy, pale golden with a small, white head. Very spicy aroma. Fairly light body with sweetish, malty accents. Notes of flowers and honey. Very subdued bitterness. Unusual and quite interesting. 051007

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with floating impurities and a dense, white head leaving some laces. Complex aroma of fruit and spices. Quite full-bodied, sweetish malty, spicy and some yeast. Subdued bitterness. Quite lovely really. 051007

30 cL bottle (I had this noted as Oprechte een courant bier, ABV: 8.5%), thanks to MiP. Pours hazy yellow with a lot of sediment floating around. Huge white and dense head. Wheaty and somewhat coriander spiced nose. Nicely spiced and caramel sweetness with a tart bitterness above. Has a slight sharp edge in the finish.

30 cL bottle. Pours pale and hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma has a minor but still distinct spice note. Flavour is slight oat flavoured, mellowish/soft in flavour and mouthfeel. Ends slight sweet yet still somewhat oatish. Nice and clearly differently herbal and spiced flavoured.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of roasted malt, but also lighter notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt - which gives the beer a slight acidity, and a dry bitter finish.

300ml bottle. Dark brown body with a beige head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt. Flavor is sweet, malty and roasted coffee with some bitterness in the finish. Not exactly very complex and not representative for a stout. But very flavorful and nice, I like it a lot.

From 33 cL bottle@OLiAarhus (I’m sure the label said Jopen Rosé as listed in the programme). Pours hazy orange to brown with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is quite raspberry fruity. Sweet raspberry flavour, slight too sweet for me. Sweet finish. Overall a decent raspberrry fruit beer.
