Bottle from Slot Oostende, presumably >4 years old.
A: hazy brown, very thin, off-white head.
A: old caramel, dried plum, raisin, nougat, oxidised liqueur.
T: sweet raisin & prune, bitter tea, aniseed, caramel.
F: bitter herbal hops, liquorice, oxidised dried fruits, warming liqueur-like alcohol..
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Moreish with a nice level of oxidisation, this was well worth cellaring!

330ml bottle from Noz (9% ABV). Drunk watching France vs Sweden World Cup 2026. Pours a murky golden brownish colour, thin patch atop. Muddled nose. Flavour profile is a mess, not much tripel definition. Really poor.

330ml bottle watching Switzerland Vs Bosnia 🇨🇭🇧🇦 Pours black with a short-lasting medium sized off-white head. Has a good lick of liquorice, dark roast, espresso nod, not especially heavy malt-wise. Okay overall

330ml bottle from Noz. Very murky, lots of thick lumps coming out the glass.. not a good sign, beer itself is ok, quite boozy, sharp, rich with burnished caramelised malt. Ok overall. Going well with Spain Vs Cape Verde

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, smoky nose with oak wood, Islay whisky, caramel, dark bread, dried figs, peat, tobacco and orange peel. Malty, vinous, smoky taste with notes of oak wood, whisky, caramel, dried figs, bread, peat, tar, honey, nuts, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Powerful, sweet and a bit boozy. Rich and vinous with a good whisky wood character. Very nice.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is krachtig warm, veel alcohol en bitterzoet met wat rum, chocolade, wat vanille en gebrande mout.
