330ml bottle from Noz. It seems I was fooled by the name of this brew, despite the warning from the previous reviewer. More amber than blonde. Certainly bears the sweetish hop fruit more commonly associated with pre-craft IPAs with malt shouldering the burden of overall character. Generally ok.

Bottle shared with Laura and Joen. Amber color, full sized yet quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, very weird flavor and aroma and in no way cognac flavors. Very weird. Seems like a totally different barrel. Very weird. Not very good at all. Sad, I hadn't tried an Emelisse beer for years and thought let's give it a try again, but I'm definitely staying away from now on. Bad.

330ml clear bottle from Noz Nieppe. Nowt tropical about it.. perhaps a slight allusion to artificial sweet orange gummies but that's about it. Nice enough in the sun 🌞🌞🌞

330ml bottle [BBD 12.06.22]. Darkest brown colour with a minimally late awakening, thin, fading layer of tiny, tan bubbles. BA supported, sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of peat, leather, dark caramel, some toffee. Taste is BA supported, dark and caramel malty, minimally alcoholic, notes of dark caramel, toffee, peat, leather, a tannic touch of oak; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Still in good shape, quite distinct, focussed flavours, BA dominated but not overdone - nice sipper.

330ml bottle from Noz Lille. Pours a slightly unclear amber, no head strangely. Not sure what I expected of a weiss red ale, certainly some weiss yeast which is unfortunately absent, but flavour wise is a satisfactory red ale all the same.. nicely fruity malty action with an acute bitterness.

Sweet, chocolate, maple syrup. Better than expected.
