Bottle. Color: Clear copper, thin beige head. Aroma: Fruity Cognac and caramel malt notes. Taste: Caramel malt, subtle floral and citrus notes, light to moderate bitter hoppy backbone, well balanced with fruity Cognac, vanilla and wood notes. Boozy hints. Moderate to over moderate sweet. Just over medium, lightly creamy, body. Below average carbonation. I'm not a fan of Emelisse beers over the last years, but this one is pretty nice.

Backlog October 2013. Unclear orange body under a dense off-white head. Quite strong aroma of grapefruit, grapes and spices. Taste has sweet malt, fruity hops, slightly spicy and grassy with balanced bitterness. Medium body, refreshing aftertaste. Nice.

Old rating from 31-05-15 - 330ml bottle brought from Kris Wines in London. Poured at home in Jersey, it's black with a off white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, hints of spice, hints of alcohol & roasted malt. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Outstanding

Bottlle. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, sweetish, subtle spicy, boozy hints. Taste: Malty, spicy notes, combined with sweetish and fruity (grape) Pedro Ximénez notes. Ok balanced. Nice combination. Boozy hints. Medium body, below average carbonation.

Draft from the Jeffrey on 60th. Pours dark brown to black, white tan head. Serious creme brulee notes obfiously, chocolatey finish. PRetty well done.
