Bottle at home. Aroma of malts, bourbon, plenty of vanilla, oak, caramel toffee, syrup, some dried fruits. Flavour is heavy sweet and a bit boozy. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is full, mouthfeel a bit sticky. Massive and sweet, a beast of a Barley Wine. Just a tad too cloying for me to be a true winner.

Bottle at home. Aroma of dark fruits, lots of black berries, sugary notes. Flavour is quite sweet, a bit too much for me to enjoy. Body is medium. Shame about the sweetness because I do like the black berries aroma.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Bermo. Pours dark brown with beige foam. Huge peaty bastard. Rich, unctious, dried fruits, toffee, caramel. Medium body. The peatiness overpowers all. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's up my strasse

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark roasted malt, oak, peat, salty liquorice, salmiak, whiskey, burnt rubber, hint of dark chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with some roasty bitterness in the finish. A little boozy. Body is above medium. Very heavily peated and oaky Impie Stout with a strong liquorice flavour. Not my favourite variety of BA Stout, but certainly enjoyable with a strong flavour.

Bottle at home. Aroma is strong liquorice, roasted malt, coffee, oak, whiskey, chocolate, touch of ash, vanilla, hint of hops. Flavour is sweet with a roasty bittersweet finish, slightly boozy. Body is full. Pretty heavy on the liquorice, sweet, fine job barrel aging. Much more enjoyable than for example the Port Charlotte.
