Draught at Logan. Amber-brown-orange with lace. Eatyh hop and caramel nose. Flavor is rich caramel and chocolate malts, earthy hops with a touch of pine and a bit of cinnamon. Fine carbonation. OK.

This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a light yellow color with a decent transparency about it to allow a light carbonation seen rising in streams. There was a two finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some spider web lacing speckling the glass.
The smell had a light sweet corn with a slight sweet cereal.
The taste was mainly sweet through the corn and cereal, it gets a little bready in the flavor.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and came across pretty sessionable. The carbonation was there and good for its style and to me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good premium lager.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to ruddy brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a decent light winter spices of ginger, allspice and clove.
The taste was mainly spicy with a gentle bready sweetness to balance.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and decent for the winter warmer style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good winter warmer I’d have again.

Can - looks pretty good - hazy gold with a frothy head - very dry and kind of uncommon for a wit - it’s a spiced wheat, all right, but it tastes like sage, clove, white pepper - not much else going on character wise aside from the strong spice character - meh.

Sampled @ GBBF. Bottle shared. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are a bit weird, lightly grainy, wheat, yeasty, slightly bitter, a weird kind of herbal fruitiness. Hmm, don’t really like it. Drinkable though.

Bottle at Chriso tasting, thanks to Leighton, 10/07/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized tan head that dissipates and retains. Nose is tangy dark fruits, herbal, light mint leaf, red berry tang, sprucey wood, heavy floral tones. Taste comprises tangy dark fruit, light acidity, herbal tones, damp wood, light medicinal vibes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte rinse. Solid if unspectacular sour.
