From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a large foamy dark yellow-white head that lingered. The aroma was citrus, yeast and pepper. The flavor was dry, tart and harsh with a sharp fruity hop presence and a citric undertone. The finish was long, dry, harsh and hoppy. Medium body. Eh.

Bottle. Poured a moderately light orange color, medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, laced heavily with malts. Flavor is fruity hops, hops - might not be as bitter as some IPAs, but it’s a good, solid example of the style.

Bottle shared by JW77. Pours cloudy dark brown color with tan head. Funky aroma with some dark fruits. Brett tartness with some dark fruits and cranberries, slightly vinous. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Jonathan.

Bottle at ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting. Black with a tan head. Espresso coffee aroma. Coffee is a little harsh and a little uncultured. Decent hop on end. Pretty decent overall though.

maybe my new favorite summer beer. I truely have not had a better beer after a day at the beach, and especially after the heat that has set record temperatures over the course of the last few weeks. crisp clean, hoppy yet citrusy, this is a wonderfully light beer that should be foundation that cisco builds its reputation on, good quality and delicious Cape Cod beers.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a touch of ruby to it, medium-thick off-white head. Aroma is roasted and toasted malts, touch of caramel. Flavor is dry, roasted, rich and malty. Not a bad one if I don’t say so myself.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a very pretty red-amber - small off-white head. Light grasses and coffee beans in the nose. Peppery hops hit the tongue, then coffee beans - not brewed coffee. Slight sweet finish. Interesting and unexpected.

22oz bottle. Poured a pale golden color with a decent, thick medium sized white head. Aroma has touches of grapefruit. Touch of hops, slight yeasty-bread in there. Flavor is relatively smooth, clean, refreshing. A very drinkable beverage.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Opaque black stout, no real head. Minerally malt and a little coffee on the nose. Dry palate. Rich dark malt - pretty hard roasted. Some dark chocolate. Too bitter and dry for me.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a medium frothy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts and a bit of grass. The taste is bitter hops, pale grainy malts, slightly salty. Medium bodied. Decent.
