Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Niels. Clear amber color, small off-white lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, a hint of tea, herbal. Taste malts, lightly tea again, dishwasher water, tea bitter and something weird I can’t put my finger on. Average body and carbonation. Hmm didn’t really impress me to be honest.

Bottle @ benzai. Slightly hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Smells herbs, spices, malts, salty. Tastes bitter, dry, malty, spices, herbs, some tea. Weird. Thin body, low to medium carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Niels. Murky dark orange to brownish color, virtually no head. Smell and taste sweetness, glue, alcohol, overripe mango or melon. Taste is actually decent enough, it’s a bit similar to a quadrupel but it lacks a balanced aroma. Medium body and decent carbonation.

Love the picture. Hazy dark amber colour with no head. Smells sweet, malts, glue, rum. Tastes quite sweet, malts, alcohol, raisins, slightly rotting leaves. Full body, soft carbo.

Hazy to clody somewhat murky light brown amber colour, small frothy beige head, dissipates quickly to a thin layer, not much lacing. Aroma sweet malty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, vinous. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, caramel, hint of cloves. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish light sweetbitter, malty and earthy notes. Quite some sediments in the bottle, like most brews of Berging. This one lacks a bit of body which makes it a kind of lightweight dubbel.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to light orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, lightly zesty, some hops, a hint of banana and some sweetness. Average body and carbonation. Meh, I don’t really like it but perhaps it’s just not my kind of beer.

Cloudy light brown colour, reminds me of apple juice, floating particles, small foamy off-white head, sizzles down quickly, thin layer. Aroma malty, bread, apple, tart, barnyard, grassy hops, citrus. Taste medium bitter, slightly sweet and sour. Medium body, oily texture, prickly on the tongue, lively carbonation, finish medium bitter, some acidic notes. Meh.

Cloudy pale amber colourwith floating particles, huge creamy off-white head, recedes slowly to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma, grass, citrus, bit basement, bread. Taste mild medium bitter, slightly sweet, malty, grain, grass. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, mild sweetbitter finish. Not bad but rather one-dimensional pale ale.

Bottle. Murky brown with fast disappearing white head. Rye bread, puke, brown sugar, cooked vegetables and some unripe bitter green vegetables. Quite sweet with bad bitter finish. Full bodied with low carbonation. Horrible. I don’t know what the picture is that someone uploaded with the beer, but it’s much better than the actual beer...
