Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Thompson. Hazy dark red to red-brown color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, wood, a hint of liquor. Decent body, decent carbonation. No idea why but I quite like it.

Bottle @ home @ weekly tasting. Brown colour with a medium sized beige head. Smells sweet, alcohol, iron, rust and too much annoying esters (shoutout naar m’n broeders dEnk, Joes, Maakun, Erickok en de rest). Tastes sweet, malty, slightly chocolate, slightly cherrypeel, slightly wood. Taste isn’t too bad. Medium to full body, soft carbo.

Bottle as RIS. Gusher, fuck this. Black with small beige head. Sweet malts, chocolate, lots of brown sugar, some cognac, roasted almonds, milk, light ash. Marzipan, boozy finish with weird vegetal notes like green leaves/chicory. Medium to full bodied. Meh, too much brown sugar and vegetal notes.

33cl bottle from ABCBeers, Thick creamy off white head. Clear amber pour. Slightly sour. I was told by the brewers that this was an old ale but it seems to be a Flemish brown as Denk says.
