Bottle at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2014. Hazy pale yellow color. Nice aroma of fesh ginger, berries, apples. Taste is a nice combo of tart apples and herbal ginger on a background of swet berries. Gorgeous.

Bottle. Hush pop but no gush. Hazy pale yellow color, fizzy. Aroma of tart apple skins, grapefruit, burnt wood. Taste is tart and smoky apples and lemons. Tasty.

Bottle pour at Right Proper. One of my early experiences with this amazing cidery/meadery/cysery. Hazy royal purple, large bubbles at the edges. Aroma of sour plums, prunes, raisins. Taste is really funky, titally unexpected for a mead, but dies have a sweet background. Very fruity, more complex than your average mead. It works!

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow color, little yeasties settled on the bottom. Aroma of bready, lightly perfumy stone fruit. Taste is subtley tart sour apples and citrus. Very tasty.

Draft at Paradiso Georgetown. Hazy very pale yellow color, champagne bubbles. Aroma of perfumy and floral apples. Taste has apples first, then fruity berry. Nice.

9oz Pour at Scion DC. Poured a clear light orange color with a very small wispy head. ARoma was some tart notes, sweet honey? Floral character, some smoke in there. A little wood, vanilla touch,. Easy drinking. GF didn’t enjoy this one unfortunately.

Draft at Scion. Poured a slightly hazy pink-hued color without a head to speak of. Aroma was nice cherry funk notes, unripe cherry, light white wine notes. Flavor was tart cherry, green apples. Pretty enjoyable.
