Bottle at the JK tasting. Bottle thanks to the wingman. It pours darkest brown/near black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is quiet sweet, sticky, chewy malt, chocolate powder and cheap candy. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy roasted malts, sticky sweetness, coffee grounds and cheap Euro chocolate. Finish is short and sweet. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A pretty poor example of the style.

Bottle shared at the CBC Islington for the jk tasting. Many thanks to the Wingman for this one. A clear reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a small halo of tan head. Aroma is sweet, toffee, brown sugars, vanilla, big diacetyl popcorn. Sweet honey. Flavour is composed of woody sweet toffee, diacetyl, butterscotch. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, woody. Not great.

Bottle shared at the JK Tasting - Craft Beer Co., Islington. Many thanks to WingyDave. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. Doughy brown bread in the nose, some subtle dark fruits, creamy caramel. Medium sweet flavour with further sugary bread, toffee, touches of milk chocolate. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet on the finish, lightly sticky, with more toffee and dried, dark fruits. Fine enough.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Amber with a head. Has a decent mix of lager malt and citrus-orange fruitiness.

Barwa słomkowa, piana gęsta, powoli opada pozostawiając ładną koronkę na szkle. W aromacie sztuczny kokos, tak intensywny, że aż momentami przypomina mokrego mopa. W smaku mydlane, kokosa prawie nie czuć.

Barwa złota, klarowne, biała piana, średnioobfita, drobna, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie słodowość, trochę stęchły. W smaku słodowe, trochę mokrego zboża, mało się dzieje, chociaż treść nieco lepsza niż w koncerniakach. Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie w normie, średnio pijalne. Nie jestem pewien co do metaliczności oraz gotowanych warzyw. Raczej przeciętny lager.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Marcin. Hazy amber brown color with medium soapy off-white head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is citric, grainy, caramelly and resinous. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, following is grainy and fruity, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Well done cereals breakfast substitute...

Bottle @ home. A bit hazy yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit metallic, slightly fruity, slightly some orangepeel bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.
