25-11-19 // tap at Hopfenreich Clear golden. Big white head. Herbal nose. Light bodied. A dry graininess. A mild herbal hop aroma with a good bitterness. But overall a little soapy and not in balance.

Bottle: Nearly black, smaller persistent tanned head, distinctive sourish-fruity traces in the moderate dryish roasty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour including a delicate acidity, pretty light bodied, not overly soft; bitter-sweet fruity-toasty finish with an increasing but mild acidity in the aftertaste. Sigh, drinkable...

Clear deep gold, small head. More like plain crystal sugar than honey, hot alcohol. Similar taste - sweet and sugary, boozy, harsh alcoholic bitterness. Not a mead, bad beer.

Tap at Haze Fest, Timișoara. Hazy golden, frothy white head. Smelly cereals, bread, loads of butter / diacetyl. Big malț grainy Czech style malts - yummy, unlike the aroma - and a clean crisp spicy pungent bitterness. Smooth yet crisp body. So,l contrasty.

Most flavours are spot on and mild, so the alcohol burn comes through a bit. But the honey is in perfect proportion. Hopcult Dresden
