Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before April 2018. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and minimally metallic finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before April 2018. Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit dusty aroma of caramel, honey, some nuts and a touch of raisins. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, grains, some cardboard and hints of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit papery finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare' as 'Borbecker Zwickl', best before April 2018. Minimally hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, stale and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, nuts and some cardboard. Moderately sweet, slightly malty, a bit grassy-spicy taste of caramel, nuts, grains and some cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, stale and a bit grassy-spicy finish with a metallic touch. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Just bad, hardly enjoyable.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare' as 'Borbecker Helles', best before April 2018. Clear, pale golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, watery and a bit grassy taste of mainly grains, some cardboard and a touch of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a bit metallic finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Poor, even worse than expected.

Straw blond and crystal clear. Aroma and flavour have some pale malt sweetness. Simple but decent.

Bottle from a colleague and drunk at home. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. A little cardboard and lemon aroma. Decent mouthfeel some decent lemon flavour not much malt mostly a watery lemon hell lager. Some hop on the finish. Ok.

Bottle shared with Caesar @ Caesars mancave. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly grains, hay, softly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Useful beer.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! As Heller Bock! Pours clear deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grains, some hops. Taste of strong malt, grains, pale fruits, mild hops.
