Bottle. A creamy, finger-thick off-white head forms over an unclear, orangey brown body. A bit grainy on the nose, with caramel, banana, bubble gum and some lemon dropping by. A touch of cloves and bitterness in the flavor, else it’s much like the aroma. Semi-sweet. Medium body, quite effervescent, a bit dull. The finish has a distinct acidity, not in a bad way, just a tad unusual. Anyway, not the first dunkelweizen I’d pick up if walking into a getränkemarkt. 111126

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, wheat and yeast. Flavour is malt, wheat, caramel, fruit, medium sweet, little toffee and a little banana.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay - grass, malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass - hay. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity malt grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111019]

Bottle. A small, dense, off-white head sits on top of an unclear, golden-orange body. The aroma is weak and boring, some banana and pale malts, and a faint touch of cloves. The flavor is a bit better, not very much more pronounced, but better. Some pale malts in the back, and banana up front. Medium body, quite dry. Lightly lemony in the end. Drinkable indeed, boring due to the ABV, but quite nice anyway. 111106
