On tap at Adambrau, Bodenmais in the company of Craig and Stella, Saturday 5th October 2024. Pours hazy warm gold with a mid sized foamy white head. A little on the sweet side and cereal flavour, a touch chewy, some maltiness. Pretty good but not amazing.

Sieht gut aus - orange Farbe, gute Trübung, cremiger Schaum. Gekochte und frische Früchte in der Nase. Geschmacklich kommt das auch, allerdings nicht uneingeschränkt. Sekt- und Hefenoten sind nahezu gleichberechtigt. Angenehm bitterer Unterton. Recht spritzig, ein klein wenig zu scharf. Insgesamt aber eine sehr solide Vorstellung.

On tap at the Adam Brau brewpub in Bodenmais, Friday 10th February 2023. Pours gold with a light haze, middling bitterness, light biscuit (Loz noted that), soft mouthfeel, could be crisper, slow dryness. Better than it seems from my rating.

Bottle picked up from Adam Brau, Bodenmais and consumed today/same day, Saturday 24th December 2022, listening to Keg - Girders about to cook a Hungarian Goulash. This pours very dark brown, the head rapidly disappeared. The nose gives very little away, but in the mouth there is a little plummy fruitiness but also malty with plenty of caramel, nice soft bubbly carbonation..

Bottle picked up from Adam Brau, Bodenmais and consumed today/same day, Saturday 24th December 2022, listening to Keg - Girders about to cook a Hungarian Goulash. Soft mouthfeel and reasonably decent Helles, a little more bitterness and bite than some, malty but not overly so, light fruityness.

On tap at the brewpub/restaurant Saturday 24th December 2022. Pours hazy orange with a large white head, nice carbonation, banana bread nose, good wheatiness and bite, light spice. A little better than the underwhelming Weihnachtsbock.

“Adam-Bräu Festbier“, vom Faß beim Adam-Bräu in Bodenmais. - Goldbraun, schwach trüb. - In der Nase breites, leicht karamellig-brotiges Malz und hintergründiger herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk füllig und tief karamelmalzig mit Anklängen an Sahnebonbon, Toastbrot, Honig. Tiefe, noch dezente Malzsüße. Milde aber aromatisch ätherisch-kräuterige Hopfenherbe, ein Hauch von Menthol. Etwas zu stark rezent, vollmundig, glatt. Im Abgang schöne herbale Herbe. - Sehr schönes Festbier, bei aller sortentypischen Malzschwere doch lebendig und gediegen gehopft. Prima! (18.9.2020.)
