Description
At Hop City, we create beer that inspires the curious, and fuels the restless.
We embrace the journey as much as you do. We take risks, make wrong turns, and just go for it.
For us, it’s about believing in curiosity. Because even though it may have killed the cat, before he died, that cat probably had a pretty good time.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with caramel, as well as mildly citric and herbal hops. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty base with notes of crackers and black tea, hints of caramel, backed by slightly herbal and fruity hops; traces of bubblegum towards the bitter-sweet finish. Nothing to seek-out for. 30.VIII.17

Pours an amber from a tap. Nondescript citrus and soap aroma, no soap in the mouth, nicely balanced between bitter and sweetness. Good beer.

Bottle at the old dears, from Callans, had presumed this was some new Irish brewer when I was filling up a box yesterday, 09/07/17. Golden copper pour with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel, straw, toasted bread, mellow citric rinds, orange peel. Taste comprises caramel malts, biscuit, orange peel, light pine, grassy bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate grassy hop bitterness. IPA in the Old Skool mode, sippable but on the boring side.
