Description
At Hop City, we create beer that inspires the curious, and fuels the restless.

We embrace the journey as much as you do. We take risks, make wrong turns, and just go for it.

For us, it’s about believing in curiosity. Because even though it may have killed the cat, before he died, that cat probably had a pretty good time.

It is an honest lager on the Vienna Style. The color is copper and red, white foam. The taste is sweet, malty giving a touch of whisky, 06 05.16, at Prélaz, Lausanne.

Cherries, chocolate and roasted malt is a great combo. The sour edge to the cherries is an interesting palate cleanser. A little on the sweet side

A soft grapefruit and malt nose belies the bottle hype about being a hop monster. The dominant taste element is a solid bready malt, followed by some juicy fruit flavours - tropical fruit, grapefruit, citrus and a splash of orange. There is some sweetness and body richness adding to the blend. Fruity hops, but not that much bitterness.

Clear, bronze, with cream coloured foam, thad did not last. Mild sour malt aroma. Strong sweet, lightly burned sugar in the first taste. The burned taste grows.

At home, classical IPA, I could say an imperial IPA, warm alcool, sweet, malty, solid bitterness, classical hop, aromatic. 06.05.19, drinking at home, Lausanne, Prélaz.

Can shared at home, thanks to Móni. Pours deep amber and a finger off-white head. Nose is faint grains, quite weak. In taste it's definitely better, decent toasty and bready malts with a touch of herbal-y, moderately bitter hoppy touch. Light yet somehow full body, average carbo, goes down easy. Korrekt kis vedelős sör, kifejezetten kellemes a maga nemében.

Can from the LCBO. Slightly cloudy, with a large white head. Aroma is a blast of orange juice, and vanilla. Spot on a creamsicle. Mouth feel is ok, carb is good. Medium Bitter, finish is citrus, a blast of coconut, and vanilla creamsicle. The name sums it up. It's not awful, but it's pretty artificial, and not something I'd have more than 1 of.

Can from the LCBO.
Pours a clear gold, with a small white head. Aroma is earthy, and a blast of ginger, with hints of tart lime. Mouth feel is thin, carb is quite lively. Finish is all ginger, and not much else. Watery, one dimensional, and boring. Base beer is lost, its juts ginger with a touch of lime, more adult juice.

Can from the LCBO.
Hazy yellow pour, with a small white head. Aromais mango juice and some hints of what i'm guessing is a malt bill. Mouth feel is ok, carb is lively. Finish isn't overly sweet like i was expecting, but its just juice.

Can from the lcbo. Clear pale yellow, small white head. Pale cereals, apple flavours, light grass. Meh, nothing to see here. It's a run off the mill barebones ale.
