At Hop City, we create beer that inspires the curious, and fuels the restless.

We embrace the journey as much as you do. We take risks, make wrong turns, and just go for it.

For us, it’s about believing in curiosity. Because even though it may have killed the cat, before he died, that cat probably had a pretty good time.

Can from the LCBO. Dark brown pour, with a medium off white head. Aroma is bready, overly sweet, mealy, burnt sugars, a mess really.

Pink pour, big white head with pinkish hues. Aroma is just random fruit, lightly sweet, fake cherry. Base beer is musty, cheap pale malts mixed with fake fruit punch. Not good.

Can from the lcbo. Clear amber pour with a huge white head. Pale malts, a little cracker, the hops are grassy with hints of mint and orange zest, and maybe some honey. Mouth feel and carb are spot on. Light bitterness, pithy, yes light citrus bitterness. Light fruit, well balanced malts easy drinking. Not bad at all.

Can from the lcbo. Weird fake cherry Aroma, with a soft cocoa powder. Light body, very light carb. Weird tart, almost sour cheap cocoa flavour. This was brutal.

Hazy orange pour, medium white head. Sharp grassy, wheat, and peppery aroma with some floral herbs. The nose is quite a bit better than i expected. But it all falls off from there. Mouth feel and carb are good. The finish though is incredibly dry, all flavours come to a halt. The faintest hint of hops and thats it.

NIce golden pour with an ample head. Nice aroma of piney hops, and some quite decent grains, and cereals.
The mouthfeel is perfect, and the carb is spot on. The finish was a pleasant bitter, and a nice cereal aftertaste. a very decent pils.

Copper pour, small white head, quite a bit of sticky lacing. The aroma. Is quite nice, good citrus notes, some light line in the background, with some solid caramel malts. The finish is medium bitter with a lot of pine in the finish. This impressed me compared to past offerings.

can from the LCBO.
Pale straw colored pour, big frothy head, watery lacing. Aroma of light pine hops, with tinges of citrus. The malts smell cheap, and honestly smell like a cheap brew at home kit. body is a tad watery, and the mouthfeel is a little soft. the finish is a tad hoppy, with light citrus notes. this is pretty boring.

On tap at hardrock 42 in Sudbury. Black pour, small brown head. Sweet, chocolate aroma with some nice roasted dark malts. Good mouthfeel, solid carb. Finish is roasty and sweet with more cocoa flavors and some sweet hazelnut. Nice brew, but reminds me of a sweet stout with a lager mouthfeel.
