(can, 44cl) Almost clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and minimal dusty, slightly toasty malty aroma with a touch of cardboard and a shy hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Initially malty, slightly toasty taste with herbal hoppy notes; moderately dry finish with a rising, almost a bit harsh hoppy bitterness. Not perfectly balanced but still likeable Czech Lager. 24.IX.08

50 cl bottle. Dark golden color. Good fine head. Good malty aroma, with a touch of hops. A bit flowery. A slightly fruity touch to the flavor, with good malt and decent hops. A fine balance. Slightly thinner than the Budvar, but pretty decent. Alight finish, with ok hops. Not a bad beer at all, though a little lighter and thinner than I prefer.

Bottled@Björntasting. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is diacetyl, earth, malts and some slight yeasty notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A quite pleasant rather low abv Bohemian Pils, but still very drinkable.
