16.9oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color with a big, foamy head. Some malty brewery aroma. Well balanced, with lots of doughy lager yeast taste and some faint malt fruitiness. The hop signature is a little weak, but does the job in providing crispness and balance. Much more mellow than your stateside Pils. Underrated, this is pretty nice for the style.

Bottle, 4.0%. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly bready, quite mild. Medium bitterness, pleasant enough. Slightly drier than a standard Czech beer, but does not taste drier than pale macro lager.

500ml bottle. Haven’t had a Czech beer in quite some time...Deep chestnut brown, with slight amber hues. Minimal, but ever-present beige head. The aroma is sweet, lots of sugary chocolate. I’m pretty sure I ingested weird plastic-like particulates..not cool. Other than that, this beer was pretty nice. Especially with the $1.49 price tag. Medium bodied, with lots of brown sugary sweetness. A little too much like Malta or some nonsense like that honestly, not the best Dunkel out there. Overall it is what it is, an example of Eastern European beer...the super sweet low alcohol Dunkel.

50 cL bottle as BB Bohemia beer, 5%. Pours clear and golden yellow with a slight off-white head. Aroma is sweet, slight grainy and bitterhops. Flavour starts sweet but soon goes grassy bitter and crisp. Ends crisp and cleansing. Subdued sweet impression into the finish.
