500ml bottle. Haven’t had a Czech beer in quite some time...Deep chestnut brown, with slight amber hues. Minimal, but ever-present beige head. The aroma is sweet, lots of sugary chocolate. I’m pretty sure I ingested weird plastic-like particulates..not cool. Other than that, this beer was pretty nice. Especially with the $1.49 price tag. Medium bodied, with lots of brown sugary sweetness. A little too much like Malta or some nonsense like that honestly, not the best Dunkel out there. Overall it is what it is, an example of Eastern European beer...the super sweet low alcohol Dunkel.

Kind of a dull bronze. Light herbal hop aroma. Mild herbal hoppiness. Fresh, sweet pale malts. Fairly balanced, though with so little bitterness you really cannot call it a pilsner.

Bottle from Tops in Tempe, AZ. Dark brown color with a frothy tan head. Aromas of dark fruit and deeply roasted caramel. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is mild dark fruit - suggests cola (not quite Dr. Pepper). Finish is astringent, but there’s some bitter. I call it dry.
