Kind of a dull bronze. Light herbal hop aroma. Mild herbal hoppiness. Fresh, sweet pale malts. Fairly balanced, though with so little bitterness you really cannot call it a pilsner.

Bottle from Tops in Tempe, AZ. Dark brown color with a frothy tan head. Aromas of dark fruit and deeply roasted caramel. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is mild dark fruit - suggests cola (not quite Dr. Pepper). Finish is astringent, but there’s some bitter. I call it dry.

Can (Diky, Quack-Ducku !): Golden, mid-sized fluffy lacy head; swet-malty and hoppy, but also a bit cardboardy; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft malty base; slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish with a fruity-lemony touch. Tastes far better than it smells...........

Bottle from a branch of Billa, Vienna. Deep gold, no head and slight carbonation. Buttery caramel and hay aroma. Sweet, slightly spicy flavour with a large amount of butter in the finish. Not very pleasant and probably wrecked by pasteurisation.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado(thanks!) Poured a lovely cola dark red-brown body with a thick creamy white head that went away slowly. Quite impressive. Dry nose, coffee and caramel. The taste is similar, sweet. Coffee, brown sugar, dry, caramel-toffee, weak figs and wood maybe. Despite all the descriptors, it’s not all that complex in reality. It’s a typical, ordinary light dunkel that serves its purpose well.

bottle, Globus Ceské Budejovice. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Typical bitter-sweet character, solid and good malty base with nice Saaz hops flavours. This new procut by Budweiser Bürgerbräu/Samson is a well-crafted Desítka.

Bottle. Red golden, bleached white head. Light sticky malt nose. Hayish malt, a few spicy edges, hop biotterness without the aromatics, nutty and light grassy finish. Chewy medium body. A hint rubber retronasal. Not nearly as enjoyable as Samson Svetlé Výcepní.
