Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Deggendorf and consumed Sunday 22nd December 2024 listening to Deadletter - Hysterical Strength. Pours reddish brown, virtually clear, looks pretty good but the head is determined to just immediately disappear every time I top it up. Taste is toffee, a little fruity tang but overall experience is a little bit forgettable, ok.

Cloudy orange pour with a stable white head. Aromas of orange, yeast, cloves, banana. Taste is banana, white bread, some pepper. Decent Hefeweizen.

Wolferstetter Bock, ein dunkler Doppelbock, Flasche von Bilgro, Ortenburg. - Schönes Kupferrotgold, klar. - In der Nase reiches Melanoidinmalz, kräftige Sirupsüße, gebrannter Zucker, Dörrobst und nur gedämpfte herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk schwer melanoidinmalzig mit satter Sirupsüße, abgerundet durch gedämpfte herbale Hopfung mit zitrusfruchtiger Bittere. Milder rezent, vollmundig; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang malzbitter und fein hopfenherb. - Wuchtiger wenngleich etwas eindimensionaler Doppelbock, der auf prägnante Hopfung verzichten kann, weil die dunkle Malzigkeit und die schwere Sirupsüße schon ein Fest für sich sind, dabei rund und gediegen. Bottle picked up from Getrankemarkt in Spiegelau and consumed at home Wednesday 15th May 2024 after a few hours of gardening, about to cook Spinach and Toasted Orzo one-pot with Dill Yoghurt. Listening to ByteFM. Pours hazy warm gold with a large white head. Loz had one sniff and decided that she hated it. It's a bit thin, however the wheat does show, good carbonation. All told this is not really my thing, the usual alcohol free flaws are present here.

Bottle picked up from a local Getrankemarkt in Spiegelau and consumed at home Tuesday 14th May 2024 listening to ByteFM cooking Spaghetti Bolognese. Pours gold, clear, a little lively beer with a white head. Done dry grass and meadows on the nose, a little cereal also. A light bitterness, touch dry, it's a reasonable beer, interesting as I rarely see this around here.

Bottle picked up from Markgrafen Getränkemarkt, Deggendorf consumed at home Sunday 17th March 2024, after a day of hard work in the garden (actually the whole weekend has been gardening). With a slightly sceptical eye, you have to wonder whether two Weizenbocks at 7.1% brewed at the same brewery are one and the same despite the previous beer clearly carrying the Weissbierbrauerei Josef Bayer name. Regardless they're both good, if I had to detect a difference this seems a little softer in the mouth and looks more orange in appearance but I was sat outside earlier and now I am inside, otherwise it's very similar. Pours a more orangey amber, large white head, toffee and banana and wheatiness taking a back seat, it's very good.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy muddled orange with a foamy head. Dry lemon zest, lemon juice, gletschereis, lemon balm, banana, some vanilla and clove. Dry zesty crisp bitterness, some fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry crisp zesty bitter fruity finish. Nice crisp Weißbier, very good!

0.5L bottle pours out pale straw topped with a tall white head. Nose is some hay a touch of grass and a little grain. Taste is more of the nice light grain hay grass hops.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy chestnut brown with a creamy foamy head. Earthy, malty, roasty, zesty, roasted nuts, dark whole grain bread, some banana. Dry bitterness, light malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry roasty malty bittersweet finish. A good Dunkle Weiße, very full-bodied, flavorfull, rural, zünftig!
