Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.

Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Can courtesy of Lynn and Barry, at their house, Merton, Oxfordshire, Monday 11th October 2021 listening to Way Out West - Tuesday Maybe (remix album) we had Pulled Pork, homemade Coleslaw and all the trimmings for tea after a few hours in Bicester this afternoon. Pours warm gold/light amber with a white to off white head. Fruity with some citrus, coffee is noticeable only by its complete absence. The grain mentioned has clearly influenced the flavour and it's an interesting and decent beer, however I cannot quite determine all the subtleties in terms of flavours here, it's very nice though.

Can (best by 1/29/22) pour. It's a lightly hazy pale yellow with light sparkle, two-finger width foamy head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is subtle sweet florals, lemony citrus. Taste is mix of sweet fruit and substantial cracker malt balance. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp, fairly dry finish. Overall, not terribly hazy, not terribly juicy for the style, malty. Great cause, not a great beer.

[12oz can from the Beer52 online shop] A hazy amber coloured pour with lots of fine carbonation and a loose cream coloured head; aroma of mango and pineapple; full bodies with an immediate hit of fruity fresh green hops giving bitterness and a good impression of a pine forest after rain; then a soft barley-sugar finish with a gentle warmth in the stomach. A beer to sip slowly and enjoy.
