Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.
The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

Rating from the festival program from 2004 my wife was about to throw away. Scarce notes saying: unclear, malty and clean, less sweet than Föroya - good beer.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden - actually close to amber - with a small off-white head. Aroma has malt and caramel as well as some flowery hops. Medium body, kinda mj-smooth mouthfeel, again malty and caramellish with a good hop bite in the finish. A decent Pils. 181209
