Flavoured with apricot, ripe citrus, and soft malts beneath. Mid-sweet fruity ending, noticeable alcohol. Fair enough, a bit heavy to drink. (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Half-pint, draught at Fallen Acorn Brewery. Shared with Finn. Hazy orange coloured body under a beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Citrus and some dark fruits on the nose, promising. Quite well blended taste of grapefruit, apricot, and mild-malty sweetness. A piney touch to a satisfying bitter ending. Fine depth. Like it. (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Half-pint, cask ale at Hole in the Wall. Shared with Finn. A low, white, bubbly head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Almost clear golden body. Citrus aromas, scent of grapefruit, moderate. Mixed taste of herbal hops and grapefruit, subdued malty base. Drying close, fruity. Satisfying. (Southsea 18.10.2022).

Half-pint, cask at Southsea Village. Shared with Finn. Covering beige head, fair lacing, next-to-clear brown-reddish body. Moderate smell of earthy malts, mid-sweet. Nuts, earth, and a cocoa twist to the taste character. Mid-sweet dark malty tail. Rounded textured. Pretty alright. (Southsea 18.10.2022).

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of strong dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is more of the same, and fruity with it. Nicely balanced finish. Easy drinking.
