We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, vanilla fudge, woody, taste is similar, sweet, quite thin.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep brown to black with a beige colored head. Aroma is rich malts, raspberry, chocolate, pistachio. Taste is raspberry chocolate cover candy, roasted malts, nutty, pistachio.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden with a white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet, grassy, malty and grain. Taste is fruity, malty, citrus, grassy, crisp, grainy.

6-3-7-3-14 Can, #529, six months before bbd. Pours yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is sweet grainy malts with bread crust, honey and some whiffs of butter, as well as herbal hops with citrusy notes of orange. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is grainy malts with bread and heather, as well as herbal hops with piney notes. Lingering hoppy finish.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017 - London. Pours clear dark brown with a bubbly, tan head. The nose holds light smoke, burnt meat. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of burnt pine, mellow chocolate, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with dry roast, pine, orange. Good overall.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a dark copper with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Apples and fudge are to be found in the aroma. In the mouth there is a brief burst of autumn fruits at the start but this is quickly swamped by traditional bitter hops, with pine and a hint of ginger. Finish is bitter and dry. Reasonable.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter. Misty warm golden body, white head that laced quite well. Moderate grainy smell, a scent of herbal hops as well. Balanced taste of grain, white head, and noble hops. Drying pale malty close, distant notes of bitterness. Tasty lager version. (Hotel room, Bergen 09.06.2022).

Keg at Brewdog Doghouse Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet chocolate, vanilla, hint of red berry, fruit leather. Coffee finish.

Cask at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruits, peach, apricot. Taste is peach,white pepper, grapefruit, tropical fruit. Sharp bitter tang.
