We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Bottle at the cotteridge convention bottle share. Thanks to beardy. A murky dark brown black coloured pour with a loose mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet. Maple, bacon, brown sugars ashy roast. Flavour is composed of oily, brown sugars, sweaty. Peanut, palate is semi sweet, oily, plastic, hockey. Puck, rich and warming alcohol.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma is smokey but - shock horror - then has sweet streak. Opaque-hazy medium toffee brown. Creamy off-white head. Medium bitter. Smoky. Before syrup then really sweeps through. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky. Long somewhat astringent finish.

Palate is semi sweet oily, light tang, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet, nutty toffee, green apple, dried fruits, bitter alcohol.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma has a sourness over a rich base. Murky brown. Thick foamy lively tan head soon disappears. Sweet. Caramel and dough. Sour edge. Rye. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Slips down.

440ml can. Poured a clear almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel and red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, sugary, raspberry, faint liquorice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Keg at Awakening Festival, Gosport. Pours deep brown towards black with a tan cap. Rich, roasted malts, dark chocolate, fudge, bourrbon barrel, coconut, dried fruits, liquorice. Boozy. Smooth. Heavy sweet & moderate bitter. Medium+ body with light carbonation. Loved it!

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus. Some creamy malt. Taste is lime, blueberry, sweet pale malt. White bread. Clean finish.

Growler thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque brown to black. Tan head. Nose - molasses, liquorice, burnt toffee and herbal. Taste - tar, molasses and black jacks. Light smoke and toffee. Palate - medium bodied and rossty. Overall - a proper Stout.
