We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Keg at Awakening 23. Aroma is chocolatey with a sour creamy streak. Opaque chestnut. Super bubbly frothy bath foam off-white head. Creamy coffee and dark chocolate. Tangy dark berry edge. Light-medium bodied. Creamy. Flat-average carbonation. Long finish. Enjoyable enough but gets slightly too sweet for me.

Keg at Awakening 23. The maple is most prominent in the aroma, followed by tge forest fruits. Not sure the charcoal comes through. But it does in its appearance - dark brown... charcoal in forest fruits. Thin white head is, yeah, thin. Initial fruity hit, followed up by the maple syrup. The charcoal and coconut take the edge off. More evident in the finish. Thick. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Big. Fruity. Balanced. Not for purists.

Cask at Awakening 23. Aroma certainly contains orange, alongside dark chocolate and coffee. A spicy effect. Opaque chestnut. Frothy beige head thins out. Chocolatey and malty, with creamy a orange juice tangy sourness. Chocolate marmalade. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Slips down. Flavoursome.

Keg at Awakening 23. Low key resinous aroma with some fruit. Opaque amber. Fluffy foamy white head develops a bald spot. Heavy bitter. Resin with a gooseberry edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Pleasant West Coast IPA.
