On tap at the brewery. Served a slightly hazy copper to brown body with a nice, big, dense off-white head leaving nice lacings. A bit sourish on the nose, but sweet maltyness and roasted malt overpowers it, and it also has a berry touch. It was served too cold, and improved as it warmed up. Sweet and malty flavor too, with dried fruits, roast, a little burnt-like sourness and some fruity sourness. Full body, rather sticky on the palate, but not in a negative way. Sweet finish with dried fruits. A nice Christmas beer, easy to drink and probably nice with some desserts and nuts. I wonder if the sour touch was intended though. (080111)

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with hints of acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry wheaty finish which also has the straw note lingering. Thanks Myrup.
