Nothhaft Edel-Pils, Flasche von Edeka Schraml, MAK. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase pilstypisch frische, schlanke aber etwas schematische Hopfenherbe mit Zitronenschale. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit etwas Vanille, ein wenig Heu und solider zitroniger und grasiger Hopfung, die aber die feine Malzsüße nicht überdeckt. Gut rezent, schlank. Im Abgang feinherbe Bittere. - Solider Durchschnitt eines süddeutschen Pilsners, etwas schematisch gehopft aber erfrischend und rund. (8.5.2022.)

500ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to sulphureous head. Relatively weak, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, minimally nutty and light fruity overtones with a touch of cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, slightly fruity, minimally bitter hoppy, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, a nutty touch, some cherry, a touch of plum; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively light body, nice fruitiness, good mouthfeel, a tad alcoholic - decent.

Bottle. Pale yellow, low white foam. Neutral aroma. Medium to light body, light chewy straw-malt notes, quick finish, could be more interesting.

Flaska från Hier-gibts-Bier.de. Disig äppeljuicefärgad vätska med lågt krämigt vitt skum som snart försvinner. Doft av säd, malt, strå och bröd. Lite tuggig matig vätska. Smak som doften. Aningen jästig som en kellerbier eller som ett råöl men verkligen storleken större, lätt sötma men ändå mer åt det torra hållet, fint smakdjup. Spännande och gott.

Sweet and malty, some floral hoppiness. A bit bitter, smooth. Decent.

Bottle at home, from Hier gibts bier, 09/08/20. Clear golden with a decent just off white cap. Nose is toasted grains, dried fruits, hay, raisins, brown sugar sprinkle. Taste comprises fruit loaf, brown bread, malty bite, dates, caramel. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Good drinkable fayre .... great on the palate.

Bottle at home split with Dave, from Hier-gibts-Bier, 24/07/20. Light haze on a golden yellow pour with a well presented off white cap. Nose is pale malts, light citric zest, breads, toasted grains, earthy tones. Taste comprises bready malts, cereals, lemon rind, biscuit crumb, light herb, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.
