Brauerei Nothhaft Antonia Weizenbock, Flasche (MHD 09/20) von Heußinger, Bindlach. - Goldbraun, trüb; überbordend üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase reife Banane, Hefe, vanillesüßes Weizenmalz & milde süße Zitrone. - Antrunk weizenmalzig-süß mit Hefe, Vanille und sehr milder zitroniger Hopfenherbe. Stark rezent, brauseartig; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang nur leichte Herbe, ein wenig Klee. - Allzu simpler, süßer Weizenbock ohne Tiefgang, bei dem die Flaschengärung etwas aus dem Ruder gelaufen scheint. (11.2.2020.)

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with toffee, bread crust and biscuit with herbal hops and a metallic touch. Full malty flavour with hoppy notes and a touch of alcohol.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, offwhite foam. Allspice and clove aroma. Fairly dry body, dusty and chalky, spices up front, some banana, preserved fruit in the finish.

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, grains and spicy hops. Taste of spicy hops, pale malt, sharp grainy finish.

Picked this up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Monday 18th November 2019 whilst listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session, we had Celery Soup for tea tonight and very nice it was too. Pours clear gold with a white head, good clarity, good beer. Not unlike the previous Zoigl this has a slight rustic slant, there is a little bit of some undetermined ice cream also. Malt, some residual sweetness, a very light bite, a touch yeasty. Good.
