Bottle RBESG 07 ... Palate was Shot by this time and im not sure that any of this brewerys beer was distinct and powerfull enough to cut through ... Thus i dont think i did any of these beers Justice and hopeo find again one day. So onto the scant notes i have ... amber ... fruity hop ... nice easy drinker ... fruity citric hop ... some spicy hop character.

Bottle at RBESG 2007. Cloudy gold colour with thin lasting white head. Corned beef aroma. Some good malts. Odd. Weird.

Bottle at RBESG 2007. Gold, pretty horrible puke to be honest. Some flowery hop. Bit disappointing.

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Cloudy golden, lasting head. Estery winegum aroma. Sweet and densely malty slight notes of honey and apricot. Solid body, and at this strength alcohol is making an impact. Finishes with medium bitterness. The best of the beers in Shongweni’s Robson range that I’ve tasted. Still it could do with some more daring character.

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Cloudy golden. Slight eggy nose. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with mushy mouthfeel. There are no esters here at all, so the talk of being inspired by German weissbiers hasn’t gone so far as to use the peoper yeast that give these beers nearly all their character. Thus it ends up tasting like a mushy underhopped ale which is neither refreshing, nor tasty.
