Clear golden pour, small white head. Doughy, cereal aroma, with very light grassy, papery hops. Mouthfeel was a little fuller then i like for a basic golden ale, the carb was a touch low. The finish was vegetal, and the cereals are being pushed aside by this apple sweetness.

Volo Cask Days 2009. Good black pour, small frothy nose, Sweet/roasty aroma, the strawberry seems a little muted with slight nuances of fruit. Flavor is roasty, with some chocolate, and some sweetness that isnt exactly strawberry, but it was still fruity. Not bad, not great.

A great aroma of hops, and some biscuity malt notes. refreshing, and satisfying. A deep malt profile complimented by a good dose of hops with citrus notes. nice stuff.

WIcked roasty/coffee/chocolate aroma. Flavour is smooth, and loaded with chocolate, and coffee, with a touch of sweetness, and a nice chocolate bitterness. a wonderful easy drinking stout.

Really nice aroma os hops, citrus, orange peel, and lemon zest. Flavour is again, quite citrusy, and floral. i really liked this IPA. I even had 2 more after this one!

Found some old tasting notes from when i had this on tap at the beer bistro WAY back in 2005. Aroma is very hoppy, and also malty, its like an intoxicating caramel, and citrus. Wow, i could smell this all day. Flavour is very nicely balanced, lots of bitterness in the finish, a very good brown ale. Perry is Canada’s best brewer

very nice aroma, slightly smokey, wicked molasses, and burnt brown sugar notes, with some slight burnt toast. Flavour is nice, but i find it lacks alot of the complexity of the aroma. Its slightly wattery, and a tad sour? It does have a very nice coffeeish aftertaste, and a nice bitterness. Overall a nice effort, and a good stout.
