bottle. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hop, malt, pine. Flavour is hop, malt, fruit, pine, grass. bitter finish. Nice beer.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark amber color with a fizzy - virtually none, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, chocolate notes, light to moderate hoppy, wood - smoke notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, drie berry, wood, thin. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20110403]

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, spicy hops, grapefruit, peppery notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma has a lovely hoppyness, with pineapple, pine cones and a lemony touch. Not much evidence of the malts, but I know there must be some. The flavor has a fine bitterness, as well as the same things found in the aroma. Medium body, a bit flat. A quite pleasant one, especially hop wise. Drinks easily and tastes good. 110318

Bottle @ Norway/Denmark Tasting @ Ulfborg. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear dark golden with a bubbly off white head. Grapefruit and piney hop nose. Spicy hoppy flavor. Pepper and grapefruit. Medium bodied.

On gravity at the Tewkesbury Beer festival, 4/02/2011. Reddish brown in colour with a slight, off-white head. Slightly roasty aroma, with some citrus fruit and hazelnuts. Sweetish cereal malts and nuts, with some berry fruit and dryish finish. Good.

Bottle from Tanners Wines, Hereford. Deep brown and slightly hazy, with a big and rocky off-white head. Aroma of stoned fruits with a yeasty edge. Flavour had some sweetish fruit, a hint of chocolate and a decent bitter finish. Unusual and ok.

Bottle from the Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, 11.09.10 consumed 15.09.10 Pours murky brown head disappeared sharply. Nice fruitiness on nose, touch of yeastiness, good maltiness. The flavour is really good there is a dark chocolate rush but its very bitter cocoa orientated, challenging and hard but good, this is backed up by a solid fruity tang. Really likeable, not in the least bit sweet, sticky (as suggested in description) or cloying. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle from The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, 11.09.10 consumed later that day. Pours dark gold, clear as a bell with a slim white head. Some hoppiness on the nose also a touch floral. This turned out to be distincty average , light chewiness, some hops, bit thin and the flavour departed quite swiftly. The bitterness is ok, it’s fine enough. A7 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.3
