50 cl can from Nettó. Dark brown colour with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel, liquorice, brewing wort, brown sugar. Taste is sweet. Light body with a thin texture and a soft carbonation. Short, sweet finish with brown sugar and caramel. Reminds me of the American Root beer or the Danish hvidtøl. This was what the poor Icelandic people could drink before the ban on beers disappeared in 1989...

From the plastic cup, somewhere in the sky above Greenland. Clear light gold with a foamy, white head that settles but lingers. Aroma is grassy, a bit artificial, like some sort of air freshener. Taste is mildly bitter up front, in an unsettling, industrial sort of way, turning sweeter and smoother in the finish, which is where the beer’s strength lays. Light bodied. Almost refreshing despite obvious flaws.

Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grasses and bread. Run of the mill Lager- seems a bit better than average.
