Rating from 2009. Schöne hellbraune Farbe mit leicht beigem Schaum. Der Antrunk ist angenehm herb-malzig, schön vollmundig-trocken. Zum Hauptteil wird die herb-malzige Note deutlicher, leicht säuerlich und sehr süffig. Der Nachgeschmack ist herb-malzig-trocken. Ganz leicht süße spürbar. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine angenehm malzig-herbe, angenehme Note, die sich lange hält! Leckeres, herb-trockenes Dunkel! 14/13/14/14

Schöne hellgelbe Farbe, wurzig-süßlicher Geruch. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig-herb-würzig. Zum Hauptteil wird das Bier angenehm-malzig, etwas muffig-herb und schön mild. Zum Nachgeschmack hin etwas frischer mit angenehm herber Note.

Thanks bierkoning! Clear golden color, big cloudy white head, lace. Cardboardish aroma with Saaz spiceyness. Light bodied. Light woody maltyness, grains, grassy bitterness. Typical Zwickel-flavors but quite lame overall. Probably fresh from tap this is much better.

Aroma is moderate malty, bread, hay, toasted, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, hay - straw.
