Bottle at home from Hop Dog, Munich, 24th February 23. Pours a golden hue with a large frothy head. Aroma is bread and grains, hay and grass. Taste is yeast, mellow and then bitter, hay and straw. Very nice

Very light hazy golden colour, white foam. Rather bitter, dry and grassy vollbier, well balanced hoppy bitterness along with some malty sweetness.

Bottle at Hop Dog. Clear golden body, lasting uneven white head. Flowery, bit tart hoppy aroma. Lean, hoppy-grainy, bit raw taste, but tasty, okay bitterness. A bit too young-tasting but fairly daring as well. Okay.

Tap at Hop Dog. Clear brown body, off-white head. Smokey, bit oily light malty, bit nutty aroma. Lean, dry, fresh taste, smokey, woody, lightly nutty, clean, well made. A pleasant drop!

Brown. Aroma is smoke almond dried fig and date also some non dried fruit. Taste is sweet dried fruit with deep caramel and some smoke. Finish of harsh smoke and bitter hops. Pretty rural. Nice.
