On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells rather industrial, with corn, straw and some skunked notes. Flavour is better, with moderate bitterness, grass, and straw. Tasted much better than it smells. Not the best helles but it’s fine.

Tap at HopDog. Bright and clear with a tall, foamy head. Bright noble hops in the nose, crisp and grassy, herbal, with clean crisp malt. Sweet honey malts in the flavor, very bitter in the finish, nice herbal and floral hops. Exellent.

500 ml tap. Almost clear dark golden, creamy head. Resinous hop, malty, grainy, stone fruity, metallic. Hoppy metallic bitterness, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy metallic malty finish. A very good Vollbier, crisp, drinkable, hoppy!

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally resettling, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, bready, slightly strawy and minimally spicy, pale malty aroma, mildly grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is moderately bitter, mineral-grassy hoppy, slightly bready, minimally grainy and spicy, pale malty with subtle residual sweetness; lingering, hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly hoppy, good mouthfeel, not the most flattering flavours, though - decent.

Bottle. Golden colour with a big foamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is cardboard, grass, some herbs and mild bready tones. Flavour is grassy, grainy, mild herbal and some wooden tones. Bready and grainy in aftertaste.

Dark reddish brown colour, beige foam. Nose of roasted malts, smoke. Gasten is bready, some caramel, light roasty and smokey. Great Festbier!

Tap. Golden. Nose is lovely. Taste is lovely. I admit this is not the first time drinking it, also not the first beer of the evening, this rating is useless, and, worst of all, the glass is empty now. Found out too late I had not rated it yet. Still a lovely beer though.
