Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Genova. Slightly unclear paaaleeee yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head, dusty and mild spicy nose. Light yeasty, mild spicy, fruity and wheaty with dryish spicy finish. Heavy carbonation.

LCRBM2: Anis and a bunch of other herbs in the aroma. Red berries and anis in the flavor. Slightly sugary. tasty, but lacks balance.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Ambrata carica, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianco sporca. Al naso sentori speziati, medicinale, erbe e fiori di montagna, malto. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, maltata, con finale amaro leggero. Corpo medio, leggermente inferiore alle attese, carbonazione medio-leggera. Demodè, ma davvero ben fatta!

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome), Birrathon. Fusto del 2015. Bruna intensa con schiuma bianco sporca media e persistente. Al naso sentori di frutta candita, caramello, cioccolato, nota alcolica presente ma non invadente, lieve erbaceo. In bocca è ben equilibrata, attacco maltato dolce con finale amaro. Corpo medio, inferiore alle attese, carbonazione leggera. Non male, ma manca un bel po’ di corpo.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a frothy, white head. The nose holds wheat, peach and lemon. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugary lemon candies, doughy wheat. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, a little yeasty, with more peach accents. OK.

Bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Pours deep brown/reddish with a little head. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, cherry, vinous touch, amazing! Flavour is balanced, sweet and malty with a bitter/sourish end. Full body, medium to light carbonation. A great barley wine!
