(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Hazy, amber golden with tiny impurities and an off-white head. Sweet’n’sour caramel aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweetish caramel, fruit and yeast. Some alcohol in the finish. 220308

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Light citrus spiced aroma. Flavour is malty and floral perfumed to spiced. Ends malty and similar floral spiced. Another too spiced no match to me.

Good beige head, frothy over hazy dark-amber beer. Discreet chocolate aroma, dark green leaves. Sweet & bitter chocolate vie with each other in the taste; generally well-balanced, tipped of nicely by some alcohol & esters retronasal. Lot of alcoholwarming, also burning MF, but very restrained, that. Very slick & oily. Nice forceful beer, full of character and assertiveness! This is a really good one by Troll.

Fully hazy, pineapple juice colour, with white rim. Coriander, ginger, root spices, but a bit stuffy. Coriander, and a surprising bitterness in the taste - real orangepeel bitterness. Light to medium bodied, wheat-like slickness. I would call this a pleasing witbier.

Good head at the beginning, not stable; dull hazy orange. Nose with rosemary, lavender, as walking in a lavender plantage. Sharp taste, first again lavender, then flavours of ginger, soap, human sweat, fennel and artichoke. Too sharp mouthfeel by half. In the palate also alcohol and even solvent. Desperately trying to find some balance.

Bottle from mgumby10; nose of spices, caramel, and nuts; cherry brown with a medium tan head; flavor ofa smoky note, dark fruitiness, and you can taste chestnuts and a little alcohol in the finish. Body seems a little thin, but it tastes good and goes down smooth, but different!

Hazy amber color, creamy head. Aroma of pizza yeast. Sweetish flavor, strong body, with an obnoxious pizza yeast flavor, lightly herbal, and alcoholic.

2007-07-22, draught at Bi-Du Beer Fest 2007, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Cloudy amber color; creamy head. The aroma is yeasty and herbal, like rosemary. Soft mouthfeel, some caramel taste, herbal touch, medicinal, alcohol. Ordinary bitterness.
I respect the right to brew and drink any kind of beer, but I prefer the straight ones to the experimental beers with herbs and fruits.

Pours deep amber into a snifter. Off-white conglomerate head leaves spot lacing as it recedes. Ginger, cumin and paprika aromas. Crisp and dry with upfront caramel and a lasting sweetly spiced finish. Makes me tired.
