On tap at the brewery in Amberg, Friday 18th October 2024. Pours hazy gold/light amber with a white head, a little bit tangy and much like the helles it has a tendency towards rustic. Wheatiness was fine but not displaying the classic wheat beer characteristic..

On tap at the brewery in Amberg, Friday 18th October 2024. Pours hazy light amber with a white head, not what I would describe as a classic Helles, it's a bit on the sweet side, a bit rustic, biscuits, light vanilla and some chewy caramel flavours dominate, not so much in the way of hoppiness, but...it's absolutely fine.

Draft at the brewpub in Amberg during the Bamberg Jolly, January 2014. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, white topping. Mild dried wheat in the aroma. Moderately sweet with mellow wheat character, faint banana chips, dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, some wheat bread, white sugar. Basic, drinkable.

Draft at the brewpub in Amberg during the Bamberg Jolly, January 2014. Pours lightly hazed gold with a frothy, white head. PLeasant biscuity nose, some hay, light cereal. Light to medium sweet flavour with nice rounded biscuity malts, mild bitter straw, cereal flakes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean to finish, more pale biscuits, cereal. Very drinkable.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Hints of dusty yeast, grain with a malty sweetness. Easy to drink, slightly grainy with malty sweetness. Soft, fruity malty, easy tod rink with a bit of sticky maltiness in the end.

Tasted at the brewery in Amberg. Aroma has some hops and banana. Yeasty, bit hoppy flavor with pear and cabbage. A bit watery. Tasted in August 2016 as Schlodi Kult. Swing top bottle. Floral maltaroma. malty sweetish, bready flavor with a noticeable floral hop character. Just a bit more than medium bodied. Decent.
