Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of tart guava upfront, with gentle funk, and gentle citric. Flavour is moderately funky, with lots of tart guava, barnyard funk, and gentle acidity. Really like the use of guava here—mixes well with the funk. Excellent.

(500ml bottle from Belgium in a Box) Hazy orange-gold pour with a decent white head. Notes of tart citric mixed-ferm base with a fair amount of sour floral passionfruit, lots of lemon peel, tree/pit fruit blend, light amount of lambic-esque funk, woody drying accents, smooth lightly lactic-tart fruity finish. Light to medium body with smooth bottle conditioned carbonation. Nice balance here even if it's a bit low on passionfruit and on lambic funk.
