Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazed orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing. Fruity aroma with oak and yeast notes. Medium body with flavors of passion fruit, oak, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a passion fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle from Berkeley Bowl. It pours a still, pale yellow gold color with only a thin layer of white bubbles that vanishes. The aroma has a lot of sulfur farts with pale malt, cheerios, and light notes of lemon. The flavor is thankfully better with some subtle oak, lemon, pale malt and funk. Decent carbonation despite the small head. Some noticeable phenol spice and bitterness in the finish. Pretty thin mouth feel with light tartness. The aroma was a bit of a turn off, but the flavor grew on me.
