Brewed at ’t Gaverhopke, bottle date 30-9-2015. Some gushing. Cloudy medium orange amber colour, good two finger moussy white head, diminishing mostly small rim remains, light lacing. Aroma malty, grains, light fruity (peach, apricot, apple), yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity undertones, spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, light spiciness in the finish, medium body, oily texture, prickly mouthfeel, lively carbonation. So so, I’m not impressed (despite the nice packaging), a rather bland brew.

At Bruges Beer Fest. Pours hazy amber with a minimal tan head. Aroma contains peach, sugar, caramel, honey, wine, fruity whisky and vanilla. It tastes very sweet, even into the long and smoky finish. The texture is thin and sticky at the same time. Mild carbonation. An overwhelming punch of alcohol, which contrasts with the light body and the quite flat taste.
