Clear black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice, drop and dried fruit. Bitter roasted malts flavour, light hops. Quite light carbonation, light liquorice (drop) in the finish.
Nice beer, but wouldn’t call it a quadrupel, it feels closer to dubbel and stout.

DraughtFast gone yellow-beige head with a greenish sheen; brown-black beer. Liquorice, drop, bit coffeeish, dry smell. Dry, again coffee and liquorice, but with a nearly absent finish. Falls utterly flat - for a "quadruple"!! Tinge of sourness, CO². Falling flat to an empty finish - just some retronasal cocoa powder. A "quadrupel", deprived of aftertaste? D’uh!

28/IX/2012 - 75cl bottle @ official launch of the beer - bottled: 25/VIII/12 - batch 001 (2012-1063) Thanks to Jef for the invitation!

Little cloudy dark purple brown beer, aery to creamy beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: some dried fruits, caramel, red berries, some ripe banana, touch of mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some chocolate, caramel, ripe banana, little bitter, dried fruits, bitter hint, mocha, some overripe fruits. Aftertaste: chocolate, ripe to overripe fruits, some alcohol, bit sweet, lots of caramel on warming up, dark chocolate. Very decent beer, with a lot of ageing potential!
