Little hazy, dark orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice fruity, bit sweet, then something off, bit of lemon, grapefruit, sweet malts, bit of and English angle to it. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, some grapefruit, peaches, nice bitterness. Aftertaste: dry and bitter, little fruity.
19/V/14 - 33cl bottle from the brewer @ home - BB: IV/2015, bottled: IV/2014 (2014-512) Thanks to Jef for the bottle!
Ar: 7, Ap: 2, T: 7, P: 3, O: 3.4
Clear orange yellow beer, irregular fizzy yellowish head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Lots of small chunks/specks floating in the beer. Aroma: sweet ripe exotic fruits, mango, ripe peaches, sugary, sweet, hint of caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, grains, sugary, bit of citrus, little sour, fruity bubble gum. Aftertaste: bit chemical, soft bitterness, bit sugary, banana peel, unpleasant bitterness, malt, grains, some exotic fruit bubble gum from a vending machine in the swimming pool 20 years ago. Although a solid beer, there's something weird that would not make me call it an IPA when tasted blind.

Fourth glass on a 0.2 glass flight in La Trappist, Brugge on 30th Jan 2014. Pours a dark brown colour with a good foaming beige head. This is a fairly sweet brew, the nose gives it away and the taste confirms the fact. Mild chocolate notes blend in with caramel and dark fruit esters within the aroma while a liquorice feel arrives with those aforementioned smells in the taste. Complex and interesting, a very pleasant strong semi-sweet brown beer (my sweet tooth wins again).

Bottle sample @ BAB’14.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2014. Murky orange with a white head. Nose is mainly yeast, herbs, caramel, murky (bottom of the bottle sample). Bitter murky herbs taste, grains, dull yeast dominates, slightly oxidized. Yeasty body. Meh, okay but far from exiting.

Very good, fine & dense, slighlty yellowish head over hazy orange beer. Spicy-herbal malts. Some fine hops in the background, smells quite balanced, if not very remarkable. Slightly milky aroma. Herbal, spicy bitterness, going over in a sweetish malty flavour. Hints at other grains, hint of honey. Quite spritzy carbonation. Little flavours left in the aftertaste, and as such the CO² adds a faint acidity. OK, but not more.
