12/07/2015 @home 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Clear dark brown with nice tanned head. Roast, a lot of peat, caramel, some chocolate, some berries. Damn I really liked this one. Definetly the best for me Jef!

Ok. 9/10/8/8/11/8

Gushing to huge, puddled yellow head, turning fluffy and slowly collapsing over orange-yellow beer. Hops in abundance, slight sourishness, barnyard odours, wild yeast impression, green herbs. Bitterish, dry continental hops with a sourish lining. Unfortunately, the finish is less than convincing, establishing a streak of rotting vegetation, warming up even peanuts, arachide, fatty acids. Very well-carbonated, only medium bodied, slick. It starts well enough, but ends in near-disaster.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah @ Ansjelaah’s birthday party. Lightly unclear yellow to light orange color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, yeasty, lightly bitter. Average body, firm carbonation. Pretty disappointing actually.

At wbf . Pours brown, good white head . Smell is bit sharp , bitter , chocolate . Taste is sharp , typical porter aspects ( sharp, metallic cacao ) true to the style and nice . Out of the three , this is not my favourite, yet I do think its the best one of the 3 for it’s style
