Gusher alert!
Bit cloudy amber beer, huge fizzy off-whitea head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: bit spicy, caramel, malty, sugary, some almonds, marzipan, cinnamon. MF: way too much carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very hard to tell, with so much carbonation foaming in your mouth. It's a bit lemony, very malty, sugary, caramel, lots of alcohol are noticeable, some dried fruits, raisins, dates and figs. Aftertaste: unpleasant bitterness, dried fruits, bit of chocolate, weird ending, bitter vegetables.

Little hazy, dark orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice fruity, bit sweet, then something off, bit of lemon, grapefruit, sweet malts, bit of and English angle to it. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, some grapefruit, peaches, nice bitterness. Aftertaste: dry and bitter, little fruity.

Clear orange yellow beer, irregular fizzy yellowish head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Lots of small chunks/specks floating in the beer. Aroma: sweet ripe exotic fruits, mango, ripe peaches, sugary, sweet, hint of caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, grains, sugary, bit of citrus, little sour, fruity bubble gum. Aftertaste: bit chemical, soft bitterness, bit sugary, banana peel, unpleasant bitterness, malt, grains, some exotic fruit bubble gum from a vending machine in the swimming pool 20 years ago. Although a solid beer, there's something weird that would not make me call it an IPA when tasted blind.

Fourth glass on a 0.2 glass flight in La Trappist, Brugge on 30th Jan 2014. Pours a dark brown colour with a good foaming beige head. This is a fairly sweet brew, the nose gives it away and the taste confirms the fact. Mild chocolate notes blend in with caramel and dark fruit esters within the aroma while a liquorice feel arrives with those aforementioned smells in the taste. Complex and interesting, a very pleasant strong semi-sweet brown beer (my sweet tooth wins again).
