Bouteille 33cl, part of trio set, and wow, not a gusher. However, the three bottles show signs of instability as given by all their overly effervescent profile. So, yeah, cool package but damn work on your quality. Bottled 09/10/2014.

Bouteille 33cl, sol in 3, thus far 2 for 2 on gusher. Bottled 08/10/2014.

Bouteille 33cl, huge gusher, 1/2 gone on the table. Bottled 07/10/2014.

Draught on 7th Feb 2015 at The Brugge Beer Festival. Almost black in colour, the head a lasting beige affair. Over roasted maltiness in the nose with some dark chocolate notes. The taste is leaning towards a coffee flavour, again with roasted malts and chocolate in the mix like the aroma. Alcohol almost hidden, good body feel and overall a decent beer.

Orangish color with a foamy white head with good duration. Lots of sediments. Aroma has notes of yeast, slightly hoppy with mild maltiness. Flavor is mild bittery with notes of tangerine and yeast. Light bittery final with some flowery notes.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at dad’s Thursday 19th February 2015 Pours dark brown with an off white head. Fruity and very tart, I have to confess I hadn’t realised that this was a sour beer. Some wet wood in the mouth, fruit skins, it is enjoyable but very tart and tangy. Good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

7th Feb 2015; Brugge Beer Festival. Black/very dark brown body, beige topping. Heavy on the roasted malts in both the aroma and taste, bitter sweet chocolate with a bit of vanilla creeping in mid-sip. Hints of smokiness and some red berries later. Decent.

Thanks. Sampled draft @ BBF 2014.Dark brown little mocha head. Nose is sweet hazelnut, lots of hazlenut, mocha / chocolate soy milk, cheap chocolate. Touch watery body & taste, still plenty of hazelnut, hazelnut paste, and chocolate soy milk, caramel, light herbs. Pretty good, Optimo wins slightly due to more appropriate body. Maximus was a letdown. Still this was a pretty nice beer. I do suspect that these beers are a lot better on tap than bottled.
